Managed Care PPO Plans, HSA Plans, and other creative deductible and coinsurance options are available to small employers to make the best use of their health insurance benefit dollars.
In addition, all Standard Security Life small group benefit plans are administered by Insurers Administrative Corporation (IAC). IAC, one of the largest and most respected administrators of small group health benefits in the country, has been providing quality service for small employers and their health insurance brokers since 1978.

Short-Term Health Insurance
Standard Security Life offers short-term health coverage to individuals who experience a gap in their health insurance coverage. People who are: between jobs, waiting for employer group coverage to become effective, on strike, recent college graduates, and seasonal or part-time employees are ideal candidates for this type of coverage.
Standard Security Life’s short-term health insurance is offered through its subsidiary Health Plan Administrators (HPA), the nation’s second largest marketer and administrator of this line. Dental Insurance

Limited Medical
Many employers today wish they could offer health benefits to their low-wage and hourly workers, who are part of the estimated 45 million uninsured Americans. Employers know that providing benefits can have a significant impact on employee retention, and high turnover reduces productivity and ultimately costs businesses money. But the health insurance available to this group of workers has been too expensive for the employees and too hard for the employers to administer.
Our limited major medical offering will be designed for those employees who find traditional individual major medical or employer-based coverage too expensive. While not traditional major medical coverage, this product offers limited payments for hospital stays, doctors’ visits and necessary tests and procedures. From the employer’s perspective, we can work with its existing payroll system to deduct premiums and track eligibility without disrupting the employer’s administrative systems or personnel.
