We Offer Several Benefit Payout Options Our plans provide several payout options so that the plan sponsor will have several benefit options from which to select. You Can Choose to Incorporate Life Insurance into Your Plan. We offer a separate life insurance policy. This allows you to provide insurance coverage for all active members, even those who do not qualify for the Service Award Program in any given year. Purchasing separate life insurance also allows a member's beneficiary, in the event of untimely death, to receive both the life insurance benefit and the Service Award benefit, not the larger of the two as with some other Service Award Programs. Our Administrative Charges Are Reasonable Administration charges for Standard Security Life's plans are very competitive. Our comprehensive administration services include sample plan documents, summary plan descriptions, annual statements, and tax reporting. |

Our policy offers the flexibility of adding an accidental death and dismemberment rider. Guaranteed Issue If your group meets our eligibility requirements, our group term life insurance is guaranteed issue. We do not require a medical examination. Continuous Coverage We provide coverage around the clock whether on duty or off duty. Convertible Coverage Our life insurance coverage is convertible. Members Choose Beneficiaries Your members choose their own beneficiary and change their beneficiary designations whenever they want.

offer special risk blanket accident and sickness insurance for eligible
volunteer firefighter groups to help you provide the insurance protection
your members want and deserve. Choose From A Variety Of
Coverages You
have the freedom to tailor your group’s coverage to meet the needs of
your members. You can choose
from a variety of coverages. We
offer coverage for: accidental death and dismemberment, 24-hour accidental
death and dismemberment, physical impairment, physical impairment
education, cosmetic burn disfigurement, injury and sickness medical
expense, weekly disability, family expense, family education, athletic and
special events, physical assault, and day care expense. Provide Additional
Coverage Our
plan provides you with the flexibility to give your members additional
coverage with the municipality rider, the additional weekly disability
rider, the organized team sports benefit rider, and the weekly hospital
indemnity benefit rider. Coverage for Auxiliary
Members and Career Personnel You
can also choose to provide coverage to your auxiliary members and career
personnel. NOTICE - This policy provides limited benefits health insurance, disability income insurance, and accident insurance. | Scholarship
Spirit of Volunteerism Scholarship Standard Security Life, in conjunction with the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs, is proud to offer the "Spirit of Volunteerism" scholarship. Two scholarships will be offered through our new Volunteer Firefighters' Division, a first place scholarship in the amount of $1,500 and a second place scholarship in the amount of $1,000. The scholarship program is open only to New York State volunteer firefighters and their children.
